Creative Hair Inspiration

"Ignite the Fire" - The Art of Elemental Hair Artistry

Deep inspiration drawn from the Fire element motivated us to craft flame-like hair – an exhilarating endeavour at pushing the creative boundaries of hairdressing. Organic colours were used, creating a complementary connection between their natural origins and the intense, earthly phenomenon. Elegant styling, combined with strategic motion effects, resulted in the cinematic capture of the hair’s Fire-esque behaviour!

Hair-ception

A creatively styled illusion

2025 is the year for teasing boundaries and taking the artistry of hair to a whole new level. Who knew that the creative side of hairdressing could result in optical illusions, one of them being the visual effect of hair sitting on top of itself?

This was achieved by cutting a box bob with a square fringe, which naturally created a two-dimensional effect of the upper part of the hair looking as if it’s separate and sitting on top of the bottom part of the hair. The upper layer was coloured a coral red shade on a dark purple base, producing a “beam of light” effect to further enhance the “hair-ception” illusion.

Organic colours were used to create an interesting, unspoken contrast between their natural origins and unorthodox use in the bold, edgy look.

Contemporary Victory Rolls

Where history meets modernism

The early days of hairdressing are marked with eloquent looks that have remained evergreen for decades to come – one of those being the victory rolls. A graceful hairstyle characterized by voluminous curls that gained popularity during World War II, symbolic of the women left behind helping their loved ones fight for victory in spirit. It’s even theorized that the style was meant to be a physical representation of aircraft spinning horizontally as a sign of celebration. Hence why the classic look was commemorated with an edgy, creative touch.

The bold contrast between the vintage nature of the style and contemporary, chic hair colour serves as a poignant representation of a time period long gone, and the need to recognise and preserve it through creative means of hairdressing.
